Chief Business Development Officer
Current Role and Professional Experience
Kevin began his journey in the business world working for Caterpillar Tractor Company before shifting over to the Lanter® team in 1983. Until 1989, he ran operations in the Chicago Hub, then settled into the corporate office in Madison, Illinois as the Vice-President of Sales.
In that role, he oversaw all business development for Lanter® Logistics and Lanter Delivery Systems® service, which included Truckload, LTL, Warehousing, and our current Night Unattended Delivery service offerings. In 2010, he was promoted to his current role, Chief Business Development Officer.
What makes Lanter® special
"I love the family-based culture that Steve Lanter has been able to cultivate over the years. The strong culture paired with a solid leadership team makes for great teamwork and a collaborative environment with likeminded professionals. It has been an honor to be a part of the growth from a small package carrier to one of the largest Night Unattended Delivery operations in the country."
What’s important to me
"Both personally and professionally, I find “Delivering on Commitments” to be at the top of my list. I strive to become a trusted advisor, especially for our customers. This helps me forge strong relationship where I can bring value through suggestions, brainstorming, and cost saving initiatives.
I have always been a competitive person, and I use this trait to drive positive change in both my personal life and in business. Paired with a love of critical thinking, I’m highly driven by the company’s growth and success, and I’m always focused on how to continually reinvent our company."
