CEO
"I’ve worked in transportation and logistics for close to 34 years in all facets of the business; union dock associate, route planner, supervisor, assistant manager, terminal manager, region manager, vice president, COO, president, and CEO of an organization. I believe having the appreciation for all individuals serving in all capacities contributing to the success of the company assists in my role today at Lanter."
"Companies spend many years recruiting the right individuals to build a culture of teamwork and success and some never make it. This is something I always have endeavored to do in my past leadership roles. At Lanter, the company already has an exceptional team in place. It is very apparent this has been a tremendous focus for the organization. The culture at Lanter is what sold me on the company."
"Personally, the most important thing to me is family. Instilling the right values, morals, and work ethic—and being a meaningful contributor to society—are the characteristics I want to instill in my children. I’m a fairly disciplined, competitive individual who enjoys working hard. I aspire to lead by example for my children and for those within the Lanter organization."
"I grew up in southern Wisconsin and am a product of the University of Wisconsin educational system. My biology and chemistry degrees didn’t necessarily provide an immediate path into my current career in logistics and transportation; however, an unexpected opportunity arose—one that I chose to pursue. It’s led me to where I am today. That said, those studies helped prepare me in many ways to be successful in this field. In terms of industry experience, beyond my career in logistics and transportation, I have served as a director on several boards for various companies within the industry, and these governance roles will aid me in my service to Lanter."
